What's The

2 Bucket Method

Of Washing A Car?

2 Bucket Method

A car cleaning technique that involves using two buckets – one for washing and one for rinsing.

Separating wash and rinse buckets prevents reintroducing dirt onto the vehicle's surface, ensuring a thorough cleaning process.

Get Your Materials

Before you begin, gather all the materials you'll need.  This includes two buckets, a car wash solution, a wash mitt or sponge, and clean microfiber towels.

1

Pre-Wash Rinsing

Start by thoroughly  rinsing your vehicle with water to remove loose  dirt and debris.  Use a hose with good pressure to dislodge dirt from the surface effectively.

2

Prepare 2 Buckets

Fill one bucket with clean water (this will be your rinse bucket) and the other with water mixed with car shampoo (this will be your wash bucket).  Opt for a gentle soap to avoid harsh chemicals that could damage your car's paint.
