HOW TO PRESSURE WASH YOUR CAR SAFELY
Pressure washers are amazing at getting the dirt and grime off of your car, but some underestimate their power. When using a pressure washer the wrong way, you can do some serious damage to the paint and tires or let water into the interior.
Here are some tips you can use when pressure washing your car!
STAND FAR AWAY
With the power that pressure washers come with, there is no reason to stand super close to your car. Standing too close could cause the paintwork to lift up and damage your tires.
1
AVOID GRAVEL
Avoid pressure washing your car on gravel or rocks. It could cause these little rocks and other hard substances to lift and damage your vehicle.
2
CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS
To avoid damage to your interior, make sure your windows are closed tightly. The pressure washer moves water at a quick pace and you want to avoid getting in the car itself.
3
KEEP THE JET MOVING
It is important to keep your jet moving to get an even clean. If you wash your car at a standstill motion then that area may be cleaner than the rest.
